Blind Data

In collaboration with Designers Front we produced Blind Data, an installation for London Design Festival 2010. We took an innocuous set of window blinds and edited them to display information about the festival. Specifically we visualised the amount of chatter on Twitter surrounding the four main events occurring through-out that week:  ADF, Designers’ Block, 100% and Tent.

This was achieved through the use of stepper motors, Arduino, Processing and Twitter’s API.

If you’d like to know more of the technical aspects of how this was achieved, then drop us an e-mail: contact@panstudio.co.uk
